A true story that begins when five-year-old Sage is taken from her mother by her father. As a child, Sage forms a bond with a fantastical fairy character and soon comes to realize that her mother, a diagnosed schizophrenic, is one of the sanest people she knows.

A professional storyteller featured on the CBC and National Public Radio (USA), Sage teaches The Art of Storytelling at Seneca College and Second City, and produces the monthly show High Stakes Storytelling for Toronto Storytellers.

“Sage is a storyteller. Not a blogger, or a journalist, but a bona fide, around-the-campfire storyteller. When Sage talks, people don’t just listen, they hang on her every word.” –Katherine Dunn, Toronto Star
