1 PART CELEBRATION OF GUELPH
1 PART IMPROV COMEDY SHOW

Canada is overflowing with spectacular human beings. ROYAL CITY HEROES showcases our favourite Guelphites, highlighting the greatness they bring to our hometown and creating improv comedy inspired by them. A social activist, a live band, a painter, an interview with a politician, a unique show every month. This month we are bringing one of our favourite Canadians to the RCH stage!

Our ROYAL CITY HERO this month: SAGE TYRTLE
1) Sage’s stories have been featured on both NPR’s Snap Judgment and CBC’s Definitely Not The Opera.

2) Sage has the most adorable business cards of all time!

3) Not only is she a force to be reckoned with in the Toronto Storytelling scene, Sage has been invited to participate in the SOULO Festival, the FOOL Festival and the Toronto Storytelling Festival.

4) Sage lived in a yurt with her partner and infant son for two years. Ask her about the bear.

With support from The Making-Box Brigade and musical genius Chris New on the keys!

This month we have very special guests Paul Pengelly and Tim Clarke from Royal City Musical Productions Inc. opening the show with a number from their next production Into the Woods.
