My story “He’ll Be Sorry Now” in Ellipses begins, “She throws the hand-painted gravy boat at him. It hits the door frame and shatters…”

I found a small article in a 1954 edition of the Toronto Star in which the events of this story actually happened. I wrote a fictional version, with my own ideas about what the couple was feeling in the midst of this tumultuous time.
