Graffiti Bandits

I’m sitting in the bathroom stall at Seneca College and it’s covered in graffiti. I’m shocked – these kids work two jobs, come to school for six hours, then go home and do their homework. They don’t write graffiti on bathroom stalls.

So I carefully read every word and end up smothering my giggles.

“Be kind to your parents.”

“God loves you, and it’s going to be okay.”

“Remember to relax, and align your chakras, and just be in the here and the now. (Um, sorry to the person who has to clean this up.)”

And then my favourite of all:

“I was not born to just pay bills and die.”

Then, underneath:

“YO, I CAME HERE TO PEE. NOT TO QUESTION MYSELF.”
