Click: true moments, stories too short for the stage.
I am walking down Spadina. Minivans are honking furiously as the five o’clock traffic crawls in bursts.
I walk under tall scaffolding, and see a sign:
DANGER DUE TO MEN WORKING
But someone’s taken a magic marker and fixed the sign.
DANGER DUE TO (no) (wo)MEN WORKING
I laugh and involuntarily say, “Yes! YES!” to the sign, as if the marker wielder can hear me, and walk on.
