Click: true moments collected over the years. Stories too short for the stage.
I am riding the bus. Next to me are two children. A five year old girl in pink, a three year old boy in blue. The girl is standing on the bus seat bright eyed and pointing. Exclaiming in some Eastern European language what must be, “Look, Daddy, a house! Look, Daddy, a doggie!”
Daddy squats by the boy’s stroller. He looks up at the girl and nods and smiles and picks up the boy’s dollie and shows him the dollie’s feet. And the boy giggles from underneath his baseball cap and stretches out his arms. William has a doll. William has a doll, because someday? He’s gonna be a daddy too.
