Tell Your Story: how to craft and tell compelling stories
This workshop will focus on finding your personal storytelling voice, the hard and fast rules of an enthralling story, stage presence, characters, and story structure.
Every participant will have the opportunity to tell their own true story in front of the others, then discover how to emphasize the strengths while minimizing the weaknesses.
Preparation: Arrive prepared with your own true story. 5 minutes MAXIMUM, please. This story must be true and it must have happened to you personally.

About Sage Tyrtle
Sage Tyrtle is a professional storyteller, who performs on stages all over Toronto. She is a regular at Raconteurs, Awkward Stories, and she was the headliner at the invitation-only Toronto MothUP Mothiversary. She produces the monthly “True Stories, Made Up Plays”, which features hand-picked storytellers, as well as “Fireside Storytelling” – true stories told around a campfire in the middle of the city.
